Tony Parker makes good on vow to send Tim Duncan and Spurs back to NBA ... - Yahoo! Sports

MEMPHIS, Tenn. ' They had stood in that losing locker room in Oklahoma City a year ago, and Tony Parker made Tim Duncan a promise that would carry these San Antonio Spurs all the way to Monday night. I'll get you back to the NBA Finals, Parker vowed. We aren't done. You aren't done.

It was late Monday, and Parker's eyes looked like they might well with tears as he recalled that moment. He had a 2013 Western Conference champions hat atop his head, having made good on his promise to send Duncan and the Spurs back to the Finals with a stirring 37-point performance in a 93-86 victory that completed a four-game sweep of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Duncan "remembered [the promise] and reminds me every time we passed a playoff round," Parker told Yahoo! Sports. "He said, 'We're going to ride you to the end.'

"Timmy means a lot to me. I learned so much from him. From the first day I arrived in San Antonio he's always had my back. He's a very good friend, very close to me on the court and off the court.

"Our first championship we were riding him. He was our franchise. I feel very blessed because now it's my turn to try to bring this team to the end. If I can do that for him, it would be ' unbelievable."

Tony Parker made 15 of 21 shots to lead Tim Duncan and the Spurs by the Grizzlies in Game 4. (USA Today)The Spurs are returning to the Finals for the first time in six years. They've won the championship in each of their four previous visits (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007), the last three with Parker as their starting point guard. Parker won his first title at 21 and his last at 25 when he was named the Finals MVP after the Spurs swept the Cleveland Cavaliers.

"In 2007, we won our third one in five years, and you think it's going to keep coming," Parker said. "And I'm 25, and six years go by and every year it gets tougher."

The Spurs were stuck in a six-year Finals drought that included last year's difficult loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the West finals. The Spurs led that series 2-0 before losing the next four games. Afterward, Parker told Duncan that he would get him back to the Finals before the end of his career. At 37 years old, Duncan will now get a shot at winning his fifth championship.

"He's amazing and he's evolved so much over the past couple of years," Duncan said of Parker. "To get back to this point with him at the helm, I'm just going to do everything I can to get these four games in and try to win four more for both of us. Obviously, he's carrying the load and he said he was going to get me back here. It's a lot of fun to be back here."

[Slideshow: Spurs sweep Grizzlies to reach NBA Finals]

The Spurs find this Finals trip especially sweet, given that they have long been considered too old to challenge for another title. The season began with all eyes on the Los Angeles Lakers after they acquired Dwight Howard and Steve Nash to help Kobe Bryant in his championship chase. Kevin Durant and the Thunder were the defending West champions, and the Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers were also expected to pass the Spurs among the conference's elite. San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich even said that if he'd been a fan looking at the Spurs, he also probably would have thought their run was over.

After winning the West, Parker is aiming for the fourth NBA title of his career. (AP)After entering the playoffs with the West's No. 2 seed, the Spurs have gone 12-2, sweeping the Lakers, beating the Golden State Warriors in six games and now sweeping the Grizzlies. Suddenly, all that talk about Duncan, Parker and Manu Ginobili being too old has been replaced by respect.

"It already feels pretty good," Popovich said. "You don't expect that to happen maybe this late in the game with the same group. It's tough to do, to maintain something that long. But it just shows the character of those three guys and their ability to play with whomever else is brought around them. They deserve a lot of credit for that."

Duncan gave Spurs owner Peter Holt credit for sticking with himself, Parker and Ginobili for all these years and resisting change. Duncan joined the Spurs in 1997, Parker in 2001 and Ginobili in 2002. Popovich began coaching the Spurs the season before Duncan arrived. He and general manager R.C. Buford have worked in the team's front office since 1994.

"I know it's rare what we have," Duncan said. "It's rare for the confidence that they have in Pop and the front office. It's rare for us to be playing together for so long. There is a lot of rare air here."

The Spurs will now get some rare rest. The Finals won't start until June 6. In the meantime, the Spurs will wait to see if they'll face either the Miami Heat or Indiana Pacers.

"This was an incredibly physical series for our bigs," Duncan said. "So we're going to use the rest wisely and get our legs back underneath us and be as fresh as possible and as healthy as possible starting that first game."

With Parker helping lead the way, Duncan now has an opportunity to add another accomplishment to his already remarkable career. A fifth title would put Duncan in the same championship company as Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant and George Mikan.

"I'm excited to be here," Duncan said. "It's a really great feeling. I don't know how else to explain it. It's been a really long time. It's fun to know that I'm going back to the Finals."

International Traveller Pure Polycarbonate 2 Piece Spinner Set (Black) Review

International Traveller Pure Polycarbonate 2 Piece Spinner Set (Black) Review
My daughter bought me this luggage for international travel. The dimensions are the largest allowable size. That is a good thing. The advertised weight shows a combined total of 20.1 pounds. International Traveller does not want you to know that the 28" luggage weighs a whopping 14.1#. Many comanies make luggage this size for under 10#. The maximum allowable weight for a checked piece of luggage, without paying an extra fee, is 50#. The carry-on luggage weighs 8#, which is not an issue.

Ladybug Tote Bag With Coin Purse Reviews

Ladybug Tote Bag With Coin Purse Reviews
I have purchased or been given this tote a number of times in the past several years. The exterior fabric is great. The tote is a good size. However the interior has varied with each tote (purchased in different places). This time the interior is flimsy. In the short time I have had it a long rip has developed inside the lining. I plan to fix it with duck tape since it is only a month old and it is on the inside. Be wary. I don't know how you can really tell what the interior lining is unless you buy it in person.
- nancejan

I ordered this tote because I work with a girl that loves ladybugs. Every year on her birthday, her friends try to locate something "Ladybug" she doesn't have. This bag was perfect. She loved the tote and I loved the price. Thanks so much.

Patagonia Black Hole Duffel 90L Color: Black Buyer Reviews

Patagonia Black Hole Duffel 90L Color: Black Buyer Reviews
I was deciding between this bag and the North Face Base Camp. I'm really glad I chose this bag because it looks great, and holds a surprisingly large amount. At first I was underwhelmed with the size of this bag, but once I started using it, I fell in love. I will be purchasing another.
- Will

Wish it was more waterproof, but the zippers are not meant to protect stuff when the bag is submerged. Otherwise it is exactly what I hoped for and what was advertised.
- Traderjohn

This bag is very well made. Short of complete submersion, you won't get the contents wet. Good straps. Good handles. One improvement that could be made...let the shoulder strap pads be moveable. They are static toward one end, to be used as a back pack if necessary.
- Kyle Claassen

This bag literally whethered a few flight transfers, in the rain, and kept everything dry and in tact. The shoulder straps are a great addition, highly recommended product.
- Clay

I had been looking for a duffle for quite some time. I was working in afghanistan at the time so I decided to wait until I got home to buy one. My only requirement was it had to be large, no wheels and it had to have shoulder straps. I checked out the products from north face and osprey but this patagonia bag was the best. I ordered from amazon, there were cheaper offers online, but they did not offer the same color selections. First impression was that the bag was extremely well made. The material is very thick, zippers looked very durable. Inside it is just one large cavern. I traveled with it recently and it was stuffed to max capacity. All in my luggage weighed about 50 lbs. I thought it looked small after I pit everything in it but once I put it on my back a realized just how big the bag was. It held up great on my trip and was the perfect size to meet airline luggage weight allowance. If i could justify it I would also buy the 60L and 120L. It may sem a bit expensive but I find it well worth the cost.
- Juan Cervantes "Daily Survivor"

Dennis Seidenberg did his part for the Bruins - Boston Globe

Relegated to the TD Garden press box for the first two games of the Bruins' best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Rangers, the injured Dennis Seidenberg came to appreciate the perspective he gained from his ninth-floor perch.

But that, in no way, is to suggest that Seidenberg embraced his bird's-eye view of the game.

'You hate watching games,'' said the veteran defenseman, who was lost for the first four games of the Rangers series after a lower-body injury on his first shift in Game 7 of the quarterfinal series vs. the Maple Leafs.

After sustaining that injury, Seidenberg attempted to get back out on the ice, but he lasted only six seconds before he retreated to the bench. He logged a grand total of only 37 seconds in the clinching 5-4 overtime victory over the Leafs.

'You hate not being a part of it,'' said Seidenberg, who returned to the lineup and recorded 23:37 of ice time in Saturday's 3-1 victory that closed out the Rangers in five games and propelled the fourth-seeded Bruins to the Eastern Conference finals against the top-seeded Penguins.

'You try to do everything to get back as quick as possible and be ready once you're called upon,'' Seidenberg said Saturday night, surrounded by media in the dressing room. 'It was a good feeling to be back and trying to help the team. But again, being out is the worst part.''

Was the worst part having to sit and watch?

'Oh, yeah,'' Seidenberg said. 'When you're sitting in the press box, you're the best player ever, right? You see everything. The game is so simple. There are open guys everywhere. But once you hit the ice, it's a lot different.''

Seidenberg, who needed only a few shifts before getting reacquainted with the feverish intensity of the playoffs, was given a sobering reminder of that difference when he engaged Chris Kreider in a puck race a little more than a minute into the second period.

Kreider knocked Seidenberg off his skates, causing him to slide into the boards, his back absorbing the impact.

'It's the playoffs, so you expect to get hit,'' Seidenberg said. 'I didn't expect to get laid out like I did. But he's a big guy, a thick kid, and I just lost balance and I paid for it, I guess. But I felt fine. That's what it's all about at this time ' playing hard and fighting through stuff.''

The Garden crowd of 17,565 held its collective breath as Seidenberg was slow to get back on his skates.

'Well it was everything, falling on my back, hitting the boards, losing my breath,'' Seidenberg said about why he was slow to get up. 'It sort of takes a couple of seconds to get back, but you shake it off and keep going.''

It was the scariest moment of Game 5, but it proved Seidenberg was indeed back. He was back on the top defensive pairing with captain Zdeno Chara. And more important, he was back to his old reliable self, recording two shots and three hits in 29 shifts.

'It was a solid game,'' Seidenberg said. 'Nothing flashy.''

'He's been around for a while and he's been in this situation before, so it was huge to get him back,'' said Matt Bartkowski, one of the Bruins' trio of young defensemen who stepped up when the team started the series without injured veterans Wade Redden (undisclosed injury), Andrew Ference (lower body), and Seidenberg.

'He was able to log a lot of minutes and play in every situation, so it was huge to get him back,'' Bartkowski added of Seidenberg, who was a plus-1 for the game. 'He's just an all-around great player.''

Seidenberg's return resulted in the healthy scratch of Dougie Hamilton, who was trying to cover Kreider when he scored at 7:03 of overtime in Thursday's 4-3 Boston loss in Game 4 in New York. It also reunited, perhaps, the league's top defensive pairing.

'Everything's so easy when you're back there with Z,'' Seidenberg said. 'It just felt good to be back.''

Coach Claude Julien indicated he had given strong consideration to bringing back Seidenberg for Game 4.

'We made sure that when he came back he was ready to come back,'' Julien said Saturday night. 'It was a close call, to be honest with you, in Game 4. It really was a close call. We almost had him back and we chose to wait one more game. But he was ready to go.'

'What he does is he just adds stability to our back line,'' Julien added. 'Every year in the playoffs, he's been one of our best defensemen. He really rises to those occasions. We were happy to have him in this game because we knew how tough it was going to be.''

Seidenberg knows another formidable challenge looms in the conference finals against the Penguins, who swept the three regular-season meetings against the Bruins.

Pittsburgh is led by an explosive group of players that includes Sidney Crosby, who is tied with teammate Pascal Dupuis for the most playoff goals this season with seven; James Neal, whose hat trick in the clinching 6-2 win over Ottawa gave him six postseason goals; and Evgeni Malkin (4-12'16) and Kris Letang (3-13'16), who rank second behind the Bruins' David Krejci (5-12'17) among playoff scoring leaders.

Seidenberg said there was never a time he felt his spot on the team was threatened by the three young defensemen. Secure in his abilities, he applauded the successes of the defensive understudies. And they appreciate Seidenberg.

'Oh, yeah, he was unbelievable,'' said Torey Krug, the 22-year-old wunderkind from Livonia, Mich., who emerged as a Bruins cult hero by scoring his first four playoff goals of his career against none other than New York netminder Henrik Lundqvist.

'You look at the way he plays; he's doing everything, sacrificing himself. He's a team-first guy and he was patting my back all the time when I was doing well.''

But it was evident to Seidenberg's teammates that it gnawed at him to be out for the first four games of the conference semifinals.

'All you want to do is contribute to the team,'' Krug said. 'When you're sitting up there in the press box, it's not a good feeling watching your team, especially when you lose a game the way we did in Game 4. So, he was definitely itching to get back out on the ice and we're glad to have him.''

Delsey Helium Aero 25 Inch Expandable Spinner Trolley, Platinum, One Size Shopper Reviews

Delsey Helium Aero 25 Inch Expandable Spinner Trolley, Platinum, One Size Shopper Reviews
I love my new suitcase - have taken one airline trip already and it seems to handle the scuffs and being banged around well.My one objection is that when you are lifting it to put in on a stand or bed there is nothing to hold on to on the bottom end (except the wiggly wheels). One handhold needs to be added for that purpose alone.
- jllyjinx

This is a splendid baggage. It is very set alight and handles very smoothly. The amalgamation lock is very easy to set and the TSA lock allows me to lock it before a flight without concerns of having it opened forcebly. I have not used it a lot yet so I don't know its durability but at this top I'm very fortunate with it.
- cek

Was originally going to buy Samsonite but the reviews on this brand seemed better. A good decision. Used it on a recent cruise. Could not have been better. Easy to use. Highly recommended. Great Quality.
- Richard Gardner

I bought this and the smaller reside in on one pro my contemporary trip to the Philippines. They arrived fair, keep pro a modest scuffed up. They preview skilled and look to be lasting. The wheels reel fair. Overall a skilled manufactured goods.
- J. Hintze

Very light and easy to push or pull. As a senior, I appreciate the ease with which this suitcase is pushed around flat surfaces. The hard sides provide great security as does the convenient and easy to use TSA approved, built in lock. We purchased both the 29 and 25 inch models. These are the best suitcases we have ever owned. Highly recommend this product.
- Nitpicker

This is a sturdy bag that will hold a effective week worth of clothes and is comfortable to move around the airport when completely loaded. It's not Rimowa, but it is durable and is much less expensive.
- Martini9x

Great product. Took it on a cruise and other than normal scuffing it was great. wheels move easily, handle works well with two positions. One my height finds comfortable (5'3") other height my husband finds comfortable (6')l locks work well, but had to get the combo from the manufacturer. They emailed it right away. Really sturdy product. One side has a zipper to keep clothing away from shoes, shampoo, etc. I will use this for a long time. Like the expanding zIpper, great to add room for items bought on the trip.
- Today

The Delsey helium aero 25 inch is perfect for short trips. I like the look and it is lightweight too. On top of that, the combination TSA lock is a bonus as I find troublesome to carry a key. The double spinner wheels make it look classy and it can expand up to 2 inches. I love it.
- garmin

I've owned other Delsey bags and this excellent. Its lightweight, wheels roll well and well constructed considering the low cost. It would nice if wheels could handle the sometimes rough NYC sidewalks but over good bag.
- Daniel C. Rios "DefconDan"

Lots of space - thought I'd have to use the expandable feature on our return trip, but it turned out we didn't even need to. The best part was the ease in navigating the airport with the double-4 wheeled system - required almost no effort at all, and didn't 'fall over' when we stopped in a line! I loved it! I just ordered the matching carry-on (sorry I didn't have it on the trip). The suitcase case up with a few scratches from the airline handling, but all in all, survived nicely.
- Laurie Kender

  • Integrated 3-dial tsa-accepted combination lock
  • 100% polycarbonate with glossy finish which makes the case extremely lightweight
  • Four twin spinner wheels assuring multi-directional rolling and optional stability with zero weight on your hand
  • Fully lined interior with two compartments for packing and organizing clothes and travel accessories
  • Recessed "one-button" locking handle system with industrial grade aluminum tubes and molded ergonomic comfort grip handle

Tony Kanaan wins first Indy 500 - ESPN

Tony Kanaan Wins First Indianapolis 500Tony Kanaan Wins First Indianapolis 500NEXT VIDEO

INDIANAPOLIS -- Tony Kanaan had one more lap, one anticlimactic last lap under the yellow caution flag, to end 12 years of frustration in the Indianapolis 500.

He flipped up his visor to wipe away tears as the crowd roared its approval, and then in Victory Lane gave his bride of two months a long kiss and poured the celebratory winner's milk over his head.

Kanaan is Indy's hard-luck loser no more. He is its champion at last, fittingly with a dose of good luck for a change.

More From ESPN.com

For two laps, Tony Kanaan circled Indianapolis Motor Speedway under caution as most of 200,000 admirers thundered their approval. Kanaan, 2013 Indy 500 winner, had arrived, writes Ed Hinton. Story

Michael Andretti had three drivers within striking distance of Tony Kanaan in the final laps at Indy. "But," he acknowledges, "the racing gods had another idea," John Oreovicz writes. Story

"I have to say, the last lap was the longest lap of my life," Kanaan said.

It was one of Indy's most popular victories.

The losers were pleased with the outcome, evidenced by a scene similar to rivals lining up to congratulate Dale Earnhardt when he finally won the Daytona 500 on his 20th try. Dario Franchitti, whose crash brought out the race-ending caution, stood grinning by his crumpled car, two thumbs up as Kanaan passed under yellow.

"When I saw who was leading, it cheered me up a little bit," said Franchitti, last year's winner. "He's a very, very deserving winner."

The fans thought so, too, standing on their feet, screaming "TK! TK! TK!" as he and team owner Jimmy Vasser went by during the traditional victory lap. It felt magical to Kanaan, like he had given the crowd at Indianapolis Motor Speedway a gift.

"It means a lot to me because so many people, I could feel that they wanted me to win, and it's such a selfish thing to do because what are they getting from it?" Kanaan said. "I'm the one who gets the trophy. I believed that this win was more for people out there than for me.

"I wanted it all my life, but over the years I was kind of OK with the fact that I may never have the chance to win."

His chance came at the end of a history-making race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where Kanaan knew he had to pounce at the green flag for the final restart with three laps to go. He did, zipping inside leader Ryan Hunter-Reay to roar to the lead -- where he wanted to be in case another caution came out.

"I knew I had to get the lead on the restart because it could be a yellow, which happened to me plenty of times here, and it did," Kanaan said. "How funny is life? The yellow was my best friend."

Kanaan had his fair share of chances to win at Indy, but came up short time and time again. He was leading when the rain came in 2007, only to lose to Franchitti when the race resumed.

[+] Enlarge

Mark J. Rebilas/USA TODAY SportsOn a day with a record number of lead changes, Tony Kanaan finally won his first Indy 500.

In all, Kanaan went into Sunday's race with 221 laps led at Indy -- more than any non-winner except Michael Andretti and Rex Mays -- but his second-place finish to Buddy Rice in 2004 was the closest he had come to victory. He had a pair of third-place finishes, including last year, again to Franchitti.

"It's wonderful for him," said Mario Andretti, himself a victim of bad luck at Indy. "He's raced here long enough that he deserves it, no question."

The win for Kanaan and car owner Vasser was celebrated throughout the paddock. Alex Zanardi, who came from Italy to watch the race and gave Kanaan one of his 2012 London Paralympics medals as good luck, wept behind the pit wall as Kanaan took the checkered flag.

"I tell you I'm starting to think (the medal) really works," said Zanardi, who lost his legs in a 2001 crash in Germany. "It's a dream come true to see Tony win, to see Jimmy Vasser win, my dear friend. I'm so happy, I'm so happy."

It was Vasser who brought Zanardi's medal to Kanaan before the race, telling his driver that Zanardi wanted him to rub it for good luck.

"I actually cuddled with the thing," Kanaan admitted.

Vasser, caught in the middle as a driver during the political fighting in open-wheel racing, only got the chance to run Indy eight times in his career and not during his prime. He had goose-bumps on the celebratory lap with Kanaan as the crowd chanted the driver's name.

"I never won it as a driver. In fact, I couldn't win it as a driver," Vasser said, "so I had to hire the right guy to do it, get a baby Borg on my shelf," referring to the winner's Borg-Warner trophy.

It will be one adorned with Kanaan's likeness, and the driver joked he could finally "put my big nose on that trophy."

Fellow Brazilian Helio Castroneves, like Franchitti shooting for a record-tying fourth Indy win, was happy for his longtime friend.

"Finally he's able to win this race. He's so close so many times, but the good news is the good old boys are still able to run fast," Castroneves said.

Carlos Munoz, a 21-year-old rookie making his first IndyCar start, finished second and Hunter-Reay was third.

"T.K. is such a fan favorite, absolutely, it's great to see him win it. If anybody is going to win it in the field, he's one of the few I'd like to see other than myself," Hunter-Reay said. "We were leading on that last restart, I knew I was a sitting duck, and I wasn't too bummed about it because I knew we had enough laps to get it going again and have a pass back. Maybe I would be third on the last lap, which is where I wanted to be."

Only there was no racing on the last lap. Franchitti brought out the caution seconds after Kanaan passed Hunter-Reay for the last of 68 lead changes -- exactly double last year's record.

On the final lap, the leaders came to the finish line all bunched up around Kanaan, saluting the IndyCar stalwart who had longed to add the final missing piece to his resume. That was about as slow as anyone had driven all day. The average speed was 187.433 mph, another Indy record.

Marco Andretti finished fourth, failing to win for the eighth time, and Justin Wilson was fifth in the highest-finishing Honda on a day that was dominated by Chevrolet. Castroneves was sixth. Pole-sitter Ed Carpenter led a race-high 37 laps and finished 10th.

For a time, it appeared the win would go to AJ Allmendinger, who led 23 laps in his Indy debut for Roger Penske.

Fired by Penske from his NASCAR ride last year after failing a NASCAR drug test, Penske gave him a second chance with this IndyCar opportunity. Seven years after leaving open-wheel racing, Allmendinger finally ran "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing" and was leading when his seat belt came undone, forcing him to pit.

It put Allmendinger off the pit cycle, and he was forced to stop for gas twice far in advance of the rest of the field. It meant Allmendinger had to drive his way back to the front each time, and he finally sputtered out at seventh.

"I'll be honest, pretty special moment to be leading at Indy," he said. "My body kind of went numb, my mind was racing and I could feel my heart beating really fast, and that's a special moment I'll never forget."

A year after 34 lead changes and a frantic finish created what many considered the best Indy ever, IndyCar had its hands full trying to top itself.

This one might have done it, with the slicing and dicing at the front, over and over and over again. The 68 lead changes involved 14 drivers, and 28 of the 33 cars were running at the end. With 100 miles to go, 25 drivers were on the lead lap.

"It was a hell of a race. That's all I can say," Mario Andretti said. "This is riveting competition, that's all I can tell you. It's just amazing. The reliability of the cars is there. The product is there. It's unbelievable racing, the best I've seen in years."

I love the idea of having a "see through" briefcase that can facilitate entry into security checkpoints. I volunteer at a prison and this bag serves the aforementioned purpose. From a personal standpoint, it's great to see what I have in the bag without having to open it up. It helps speed up the packing process. This bag is solidly constructed with durable plastic and quality stitching. On the negative side, the briefcase is a little too small for my liking (see dimensions in product description for details), the side pockets are too small to hold a water bottle (one side has elastic netting) or a standard size smart phone (pocket with Velcro secured flap). In short, this briefcase stands out because of its transparent design, yet lacks the size and multiple compartments found in other types of shoulder strap business/messenger style bags.It solidly serves its purpose as a "security friendly" briefcase.
- Introspective Falcon

Love this bag. I had it over a year now. It takes a beating everyday at work and in my car, but I have had ZERO problems with this bag. I highly recommend. Well worth the few extra dollars.
- Don Buczkowski

This is a real work horse for a reasonable price. Since my employment is at a prison, it was important to have a lightweight and easily searchable bag. It is very sturdy, and the stitching is of high quality. This would make an ideal bag for anyone who is either a student or employed by companies with security rules requiring see through bags.
- Sheila M. Warner "Crime Thrillers Fan"

I bought this for my husband to carry his stuff for work. (His company requires all employees to carry a clear bag) He is extremely pleased with the strength and durability. 2 Thumbs up!
- Kat "Soccer Mom"

Just received this today and am totally pleased. I ordered from [...] and saved a few dollars on shipping. I spent days looking on the Internet for the right clear vinyl bag. I actually wanted something to use1. in place of my beautiful painted leather Anuschka bag that cost a few hundred dollars and will look shabby with daily rugged use, and2. to save all that time and frustration that I experience every day at having difficulty finding things. The construction is fantastic - excellent seams, well set zippers, very nice rolled handles, and a shoulder or cross body strap. Plenty of pockets for me - but will not be losing things because I can SEE!!! The vinyl is both very thick and very clear. I had already purchased several clear vinyl pencil cases with zippers in pink and blue from Office Depot - just popped them in - and one opaque pencil case for my cash and checkbook. I am as thrilled as a kid! My laptop would easily fit in here, but that's not what I bought it for. Would like another one now for taking my make-up on trips!!!This is not inexpensive when you include the shipping, but I got more than my money's worth. Going to MyClearBackpack.com convinced me that this is THE brand to buy if you're buying a clear vinyl bag or briefcase. This actually looks a little different than the photo - regular briefcase shaped, more rectangular, more zippered pouches - larger, but not at all unwieldy.
- domino113

this bag is heavy duty, guaranteed and has 3 yr warranty .. smaller than expected, not great for a high school student with tons of thick books cuz they wont all fit. but nicely made w/ several compartments
- Andrea

It is hard to find a roomy/sturdy transparent briefcase. This is the second like this I have owned. My first lasted after nearly 3 years daily use. There are many pockets for organization of smaller items and handily held my laptop as well.
- X-mas Mom

Although some might think it a little pricey, I would highly recommend it to any corrections professional. Its very functional without being bulky.
- Edward Bittinger

I work at a prison and the is the perfect size. As a matter of fact this is the same size that DOC offers, but this one is better. Very study. Delivered very fast!
- Diane

Replacing Everett Golson: Who's next up for Notre Dame? - SB Nation

Everett Golson's departure leaves a massive hole in the Notre Dame offense. Who is going to fill it?

With Saturday's news that Notre Dame starting quarterback Everett Golson is leaving the school due to an academics issue, discussion quickly turned from "what's a residence life violation?" to "who is going to replace him?" The contenders are as follows:

Tommy Rees (#11, Senior, 6'2, 213)

Golson's departure leaves Rees as the presumptive starting quarterback. The senior was Notre Dame's starter in 2011, and has far more game experience than the other quarterbacks on the Irish roster. Rees, who was recruited to Notre Dame by Charlie Weis, has a career 63.6 percent completion percentage and has thrown 34 career touchdowns.

Of course, Rees entered 2012 as the presumptive starting quarterback, as well. An offseason run-in with the police earned him a one-game suspension. Golson started Notre Dame's opener against Navy in his absence and never relinquished the job. Rees made two starts in 2012, one when Golson was serving a one-series suspension and another when Golson was injured, but failed to retake the position. By the end of the year, he was listed as co-backup with Andrew Hendrix.

In other words, Rees is a default choice if nothing better emerges. This is Brian Kelly's team, though, and Kelly will be looking hard for something better if it's available.

Andrew Hendrix (#13, Senior, 6'2, 220)

Hendrix, another Charlie Weis recruit, looked like the odd man out of last season's quarterback derby. The former four-star recruit out of Cincinnati made just three appearances in 2012, completing five of seven pass attempts for 55 yards and adding another 41 yards on the ground. In 2011, Hendrix struggled in limited action, going 18/37 passing for 249 yards and tossing a pair of interceptions. He has been criticized for his footwork in the pocket, which is not exactly the problem you want to have as a senior quarterback.

Brian Kelly's offensive philosophy has continued to evolve at Notre Dame, from the pass-heavy spread of his early years with Dayne Crist to a more run-oriented, read option-heavy system with Golson. The latter iteration of Kelly's offense was much more effective, allowing Notre Dame to methodically move the ball down the field and put the game in the hands of Bob Diaco's defense.

The decision between Rees and Hendrix could hinge on which version of the Brian Kelly offense Brian Kelly wants to run. Tommy Rees can be a competent dropback passer, but is not a serious threat in the running game. Hendrix, on the other hand, has shown good instincts in the read option and elusiveness at the line of scrimmage. With the Irish returning many of the pieces of their phenomenal 2012 defense, Hendrix could potentially be the quarterback to provide a reasonable facsimile of the 2012 offense.

Malik Zaire (#8, Freshman, 6', 208)

Of course, Kelly could just throw out both seniors and start over with the crown jewel of his 2013 recruiting class. Zaire was one of the nation's top-rated quarterback prospects, a consensus four-star recruit with offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. He committed early to Notre Dame, enrolled in January, and participated in spring drills. His up-and-down cameo in Notre Dame's spring game included a long touchdown drive and a horrendous interception.

Expecting a true freshman -- even one with Zaire's natural ability -- to step in and lead a top-tier college offense is usually wishful thinking. Zaire clearly has much more to learn about playing quarterback at this level before he should be thrown into the fray. But if Rees continues to be Rees and Hendrix doesn't show marked improvement, Kelly could be left with little choice but to play his freshman, take the lumps as he learns the game on the fly, and rely on his defense to limit the damage.

Gunner Kiel (#1, Freshman (RS), 6'4, 210)

Which brings us to the biggest question of all: Would Gunner Kiel reconsider his transfer now that Golson is gone? Kiel was the nation's top-rated quarterback when he graduated from his Columbus, Ind. high school and entered Notre Dame. He redshirted as a freshman, and watched as the sophomore Golson took control of the Irish offense. Golson was good enough to push Kiel out the door; Gunner did not participate in Notre Dame's spring workouts and announced his transfer to Cincinnati in April.

The always-excellent John Infante has explained that Kiel could probably return to Notre Dame next season if he desired, under a rarely-utilized loophole in the transfer rule that allows a player to return to his original school if he has not yet participated in "countable" athletic activities (Kiel is reportedly participating in voluntary summer workouts with the Bearcats, but those are not "countable"). While Kiel may have to pay his own way for a year, he would be eligible to play for Notre Dame when the Fighting Irish kick off against Temple on Aug. 31.

The relevant question, then, is whether Kiel would return. Yes, Golson's dismissal opens the door for Kiel to win the starting quarterback job, but Kiel's chances of actually taking the starting spot were likely reduced by his non-participation in spring practice. The highly-publicized transfer did not exactly sit well with the fiery Brian Kelly, and Kiel's post-transfer comments about offensive coordinator Chuck Martin certainly could not have helped.

There is no indication yet that Kiel is considering a move back to South Bend -- he texted "I'm a Bearcat" to the Cincinnati Enquirer Sunday morning -- and no indication of whether Notre Dame would have him back if he tried. But with the vacancy at quarterback and Kiel's track record for holding commitments, no amount of text messages will stop the speculation. Kiel will be in play until fall camp opens in August.

The Pan Am "Orion" travel bag is impressive to look at. The functionality of it makes it the best weekender bag you can carry. It will truly hold everything you need for a weekend trip: man or woman. Plus you have the option of a shoulder strap or handles. I would highly recommend this back for function and looks!
- KUTZY58

My wife travels constantly for work (or she likes sleeping at airports - her travel schedule is daunting enough that I now refer to her destination as the airport where I dropped her off). As a traveler, she has developed a great style of wearing black and white so her wardrobe is easily mixed and matched, so when she saw this bag she had to have it. It gets great responses and admiring stares, but more so, is a great size to use as her personal bag.The two flaws: One is there is really just one big opening inside. No dividers or multitudinous compartments. While this can be a benefit, it makes tucking smaller items a set-up for a treasure hunt later on.The second flaw: we noticed one or two minor repairs done to the bag, places where the material has clearly been professionally patched to hide a flaw. This was disappointing, but so minor that we didn't feel the need to return the bad. It's only evident on close inspection.

Clark & Mayfield Irvington Bowler Vintage Leather 15.6" Laptop Tote (Red) Customer Reviews

Clark & Mayfield Irvington Bowler Vintage Leather 15.6" Laptop Tote (Red) Customer Reviews
I have owned this bag for 1 month and have used it every day. The bag has already shown some generous signs of grind and tear, the leather is fading and shows cracks and the top does droop after the laptop is put in it and it appears to look caved in. This was NOT value the $180 I compensated for it and am disappointed including the feature. I will most liable have to replace this soon as I use it for business and it looks too worn. Extremely unhappy including the feature.
- SUe Villanova

Bag arrived very quickly. The laptop sleeve fit my 13" HP laptop with plenty of room to spare. There are 3 pockets inside the bag that each fit a cord perfectly (power cord, ethernet, etc.). There is a slot for my badge, cell phone, wallet, keys, and pens, and a zipper pocket for small items. The space inside is big enough for papers, my lunch, and other items I may need. Finally, I love the bowler look. It is cross-generational. I am 27 years old and it matches my style beautifully. The red is gorgeous, slightly deeper than bright red. The straps are comfortable with an overcoat. I love carrying this bag to work, and carrying out afterwards if I go to happy hours or shopping.
- Jivenwale

I purchased the red bag as a the upper classes graduation gift for my son's girlfriend, idea it would be great as she sets forth into the effective world. When it arrived, it was so great I planning I would treat for myself to one as well. The bag is the perfect size for my 16" mainframe and is stylish at my age 50 and for the the upper classes grad as well. The red color is perfect, the leather double-jointed. After incisive through hundreds of bags, I'm so glad I selected this one.
- C Marion "C Marion"

I've been using this bag for a couple of weeks. I am glad I got it, and will happily keep it, but it's not perfect.-I love the organizational sections. pockets & etc. This is a real improvement for me. These pictures don't know the pockets inside the little front section, which are also useful.-I also like the handle. It's short enough that I can hold it with my hand, long enough that I can put it over my shoulder (at least during summer, without heavy coats) and in-between enough that I can drape in on my front arm. The long strap is also useful, of course.-I just flew with it the first time. The baggage strap worked nicely, and it fit under the seat in front of me (sideways), and I was in a window seat, that didn't have the full foot-area width! I wasn't sure this would work, so this is good. Why wasn't I sure? This brings up the first provision:-The bag is definitely taller than anything I'm putting in it. I wish it were shorter. Or, I wish there were two verticle rows of inside pockets so I could use the full height for things like cords and the like, instead of them building up width. (I'm not sure I'd want the pockets deeper for usual use--it would've been useful during the flight, but I think that would be too much for everyday use.)-The bag is also deep! Note the dimensions.-The leather is very soft, which is nice. It also means the bag isn't quite as structured as the pictures look. Since I don't have the top of the bag as full as the bottom 2/3s, I have been noticing the top, which it's sewn-in corners, squooshing in as I carry it.-The (black) leather finish is already starting to show some wear, especially around the top corners. It doesn't look damaged, but I think I'm going to have to polish this somewhat regularly if I don't want it to look worn. It is also showing a tendency to look a little.. flaky? Not a lot. It's in a way that I think is consistent with the pictures. The last thing is not unique to this bag: laptop sections in briefcase bags are way too wide! Okay, I now have a 13" Macbook Air (which works nicely in here), which is particularly narrow. But even with a regular Mac laptop, these are just so wide that they are useless as sections meant to hold in/protect laptops. For that reason, I always use some variety of a padded sleeve-type laptop cover. (For instance, I use this, Acme Skinny Sleeve for 13" MacBook Air - Purple - AM00919, in black, which works really nicely,)
- R. Garcia

I love this bag. It was exactly what I needed for a business trip. Received many compliments on it while on the road. I like the antique leather finish and love the light blue color. Nice change of pace from the usual black and browns I usually buy. Worked great as an accessory on the road, paired with a small rolling case--no checking bags at the airport, which made traveling just a little less crazy. Highly recommend it.
- Mayamaya

I am over 60 and do free lance graphics work at a variety of locations. Schlepping a laptop and graphics tablet along with the assorted stuff that makes them work (don't forget the wrist brace, extra glasses for close work, etc.!) was giving me a shoulder ache. My solution was a nice leather bag that was just too small. I was beginning to feel like a bag lady.I have looked for several months to find a bag that I thought might fit the bill. I am so happy with this one; I would recommend it highly. The laptop holder holds my 15.6 unit just fine...there is plenty of room on the top for a taller one, if yours is shaped a little oddly. It is not at all a tight fit side to side and the zipper is plenty wide so there should be no problem with scratches. There are more pockets that described. Some in every section except the laptop section. Plenty for pens, mice, cords, and earbuds, along with the other junk that old people have to carry. (If you're not old, this translates into "plenty of room".)The bag is wide enough to put my graphics tablet (in a protective sleeve) and still have room for some necessary print files.Very stylish, I feel much more professional when visiting with clients.Great bag!
- Old Graphics Lady

The leather on this bag is very soft and buttery - we'll have to see how well it holds up. There is plenty of room and organization inside with all the pockets and compartments. I'm short (5'3) but can carry this easily. All in all - a classy bag!

I'm in the military and am very familiar with military "grade" equipment and would say that this fits in that category, looks like something I should get issued. Now I think the overall build is good, Molle webbing isn't as rigid as I'm used to and the zippers dont have that sturdy tight zip like other expensive brands do, but I gave it 5 stars for the price an it's ability to compete with those more expensive brands like the maxpedition proteus. Haven't had it long enough to give you a better review on how well it holds up but I am thinking of buying another and bringing it on deployment , the one I have right now holds emergency items and it's in the trunk of my car. I may do a follow up review later on.

Good item, military grade and has sturdy zippers and locks. I am in the Military and am able to take this on deployment with me.

Amanda Bynes claims she was 'sexually harassed' before arrest - New York Daily News

Girl-gone-bonkers Amanda Bynes called her drug charges 'all lies' Saturday ' claiming she was victimized by a pervy cop who 'slapped my vagina."

'Don't believe the reports about me being arrested. It's all lies,' Bynes wrote a day after she was hauled into a Manhattan courtroom on charges she chucked a bong out of her window.

'I was sexually harassed by one of the cops the night before last which is who then arrested me. He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious. He slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment.

Following protocol, the NYPD opened an investigation into Bynes' claims, but a source said a building manager who witnessed the two cops arrest the actress saw no evidence supporting her account.

The kooky Tweet was just the latest example of Bynes' antics.

Before the Kabuki-worthy chaos of blonde wigs, bizarre behavior and handcuffs, Bynes was a bona fide teen idol.

AKM-GSIAmanda Bynes arrested after throwing a bong out of her window. Bynes was arrested on the charges of reckless endangerment when she throw the bong out of the window in front of officers, and criminal possession of marijuana.

She had successful runs on Nickelodeon's "All That" and "The Amanda Show" during her pre-teen and high school years and seemed impressively immune to the pitfalls of young Hollywood.

Asked about her notable absence from the gossip pages in 2007, the "Hairspray" star credited her retired dentist dad, her office manager mom and her modest upbringing in a quiet Los Angeles suburb.

"I was raised by strict parents. I wasn't allowed to go to the mall alone until I was around 16," Bynes told InterfaithFamily.com.

"I have really smart grounded parents who weren't nouveau riche. They really earned their money, and they know the value of a dollar. They gave morals to me, and I wouldn't want to do anything that would embarrass my parents," she said at the time.

But her fairytale fame wasn't the life she ultimately wanted, and the wholesome and accomplished actress who anchored more than 80 episodes of the hit WB show "What I Like About You" announced her surprise retirement in 2010.

"Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem," she confessed on Twitter. "I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it."

Amanda Bynes tweeted this today May 25, 2013

After some time off the celebrity radar, Bynes started making unwanted headlines in early 2012.

First the "Easy A" actress was charged with DUI after she allegedly rammed a police car in West Hollywood. Her dad quickly jumped to her defense, saying she was simply overly "emotional," not drunk, at the time of her booking.

"I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn't have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn't drink," Rick Bynes told People.com.

"She is a good girl. She just chooses not to work, and because of that, people go after her," he said.

After multiple alleged hit and runs, the impounding of her car due to a suspended license and reports she was dazed and talking to herself at a West Hollywood gym last September, Bynes hightailed it to New York.

The former child star pierced her cheeks in homage to a stripper and started documenting her downward spiral on Twitter.

"I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin," she tweeted April 4.

"I don't speak to my parents anymore," she posted April 11.

A bizarre self-shot video of Bynes "sucking on a Sour Patch Kid" candy while blinking incessantly in a mirror went viral April 15 and triggered both ridicule and serious concern.

Some photos of her posing topless in her bathroom followed May 1, and then the starlet went nuclear when InTouch magazine published disturbing pictures of a purported party inside her sparsely furnished Manhattan apartment.

The InTouch snaps appeared to show Bynes smoking pot on her bare mattress with "suspicious" baggies littering the floor around her bruised and cut-up feet.

Bynes accused the magazine of altering the pictures to "ruin" her life.

Her distressing descent would reach a new low Thursday when the manager of her building on W. 47th St. called police to report her smoking weed in the lobby, prosecutors said.

Bynes allegedly tossed a glass bong out of her 36th floor apartment when confronted by a cop and made strange faces and yelled at reporters during her court appearance Friday morning.

Her mugshot showed the once fresh-faced actress with a shaved head and a vacant stare.

Bynes, 27, returned to Twitter after her arrest denying she had a bong or used drugs and suggesting she needed "another nose job" after seeing her booking photo.

Attempts to reach Bynes' family were not immediately successful.

A man answering her dad's cell phone Friday said "sorry" and quickly hung up.

Fans were more vocal on social media, urging sympathy and action.

"This Amanda Bynes thing has officially gone from being hilarious to being hearthbreaking," tweeted Shane Dawson.

"I thought @AmandaBynes was ok, obviously she has a problem. Let's all pray for her," TV personality Wendy Williams posted.

Simple Leather Padfolio Buyer Reviews

Simple Leather Padfolio Buyer Reviews
Prearranged this padfolio in tan for everyday use in business meetings and to keep tidings organized. The manner of speaking was very quick, so surprised as it arrived! The feature is exceptional and I am very fortunate with this hold. Loads of of my confidential accessories are tan, and this tan leather padfolio ia a splendid compliment. By and large service and feature outstanding. Would buy ended again. This would make a splendid gift!
- Andrew Bauer

I was looking for a 100% natural leather portfolio. This is not. It is bonded leather which means it likely is made with plastic and grounded leather. (Think Chinatown faux leather bags or wallets)The practical function of the portfolio was for me: thin and not bulked up by nonessential pockets (does not include a pocket for the now extinct hard disk). It LOOKS great. However, it SOUNDS cheap because of the bonded leather. If you run your fingernails on it or drop a pen on it, the material sounds more like plastic. If I paid closer to $30, I would have kept this but nearly $60 is too much. I plan to return it and invest in a 100% leather portfolio.
- Michelle C.

I received mt "leather" padfolio today,,,,and was shocked! It is NOT leather...but cheap plastic!Awful....I could smell the plastic when I opened the envelope!I am trying to return it now and that is not turning out to be easy!Awful......
- MB

I bought the black translation of this choice. The padfolio is a ordinary mass choice including the intention of fits of laughter all ordinary document mass. This choice was not calculated to be a workhorse including the intention of can reside in 200 sheets of document (it could maybe doubtless reside in 50 max). Extremely, it seems to be inflicted including been calculated pro potential interviews. The leather is of distinguished feature, keep pro not of exceptional feature. Portfolios, by the feature of including the affair clothes, makes a proclamation. A kind leather choice such as this could get on to a uncommon depression than a despondent-deprivation choice. You can approve of far away extra high-priced or far away extra cheaper alternatives. I infer portfolios early strain first name leather manufacturers are noticeably better and be inflicted including flush better leather feature. Keep pro they also deprivation 2-5 era extra than this choice.I also proverb loads of portfolios at a personnel give pile which deprivation a cut-rate amount of than half of this choice which looked travelable. Flush if they were fake leather, approximately looked extremely near as skilled as this choice. If you are fleeting on cash, you could aspire to preview at the cheaper alternatives. Keep pro if you aspire a feature genuine leather choice, at that calculate this choice, flush if not as impressive as the strain first name portfolios, will doubtless fit your desires.
- Jaewoo Kim "OB-Wan"

Item received on time and in new condition. Very nice leather and well made. Plenty of pockets and place for business cards. Would buy again. A+++.
- John J. Giardina "Ferrari fan"

I bought the Simple Leather Padfolio as a holiday gift for my boyfriend. He is an engineer and like to have a professional appearance while in meetings. It has a very clean look that definitely beats a spiral notebook. The leather is very soft. The simple leather padfolio has many helpful pockets. It's nice that it has two spaces to hold business cards. The only downside I can see is that there are no back pockets. Over all its a very good deal and makes a great gift.
- Nix

It's leather and it's beautiful...excatly what I wanted in a padfolio and I got it so I'm very pleased so far
- C. Giosan "CRG"

I recieved this as described within the shipping time frame. Upon opening the package was pleasently surprised to see the quality of the product with its leather cover and pockets.Beats plastic any day. This was gift and was really appriciated as a replacement for a old one. Will order again when needed but, think it will be a while.
- Gregory F. Offhaus "greg"

Have used the padfolio for a few weeks now. Holds up nicely (my others broke in the center after two weeks of use). Burgandy color is a brownish - not reddish burgundy.
- H. H.

Padfolio came packaged in a very nice, sturdy, dark blue gift box.I ordered the tan color. Online, the picture displayed for the tan padfolio looks more like a medium brown, but the producted that was delivered is decidedly a lighter tan, with odd orange tones. (Kind of pumpkin-y?) It isn't an especially attractive color, but it will do.The box and the tag inside the padfolio both say that it is leather and I believe that it is, but it is coated in some sort of laminate that makes it slick and glossy. It could be mistaken for faux leather (plastic), for sure. It does not have a strong leather smell, either. The insides of the pockets are lined with a nice, striped, coppery borwn material.Workmanship looks good, with nice, even stiches and no stray threads, though there were a few spots of some sort of chalky white substance on the back. They wiped off easily enough. It is a usable padfolio, but there is nothing outstanding about it, in my opinion. I think I overpaid for this one!
- Grasshopper

Capture your thoughts in an instant with this handsome leather padfolio. Our most popular portfolio!Practical yet beautiful, it's a budget-friendly choice for those looking for the same features as some of the more expensive models without breaking the wallet. With an ID window, business card pocket, a general pocket and flap divider, along with a ruled 8-1/2″ × 11″ pad, this svelte, sturdy padfolio will last you years to come. This elegant portfolio, made of bonded leather and designed to please, comes gorgeously gift boxed for your convenience. Pen shown not included.Size: 12.5″ × 9.75″ × 0.75″

Will President Obama Call the London Attack Terrorism? - Heritage.org (blog)

JUSTIN TALLIS/AFP/Getty Images/Newscom

President Obama refused to call the London terror attack terrorism yesterday in his major speech on countering terrorism. In fact, he did not even utter the word 'London' once. There was no mention of the attack; no description of it as terrorism; no pointing out that the attack shows why we must stay resolute and vigilant.

Most worryingly, there was no sign of solidarity with the U.K. during this troubling time. Of course, 9/11 was mentioned and the recent Boston terrorist attacks were mentioned. Even Benghazi was mentioned. Yet, the most recent terror attack against America's closest ally was ignored as if it didn't happen. This makes the Special Relationship look just a little bit less special.

Three days after the horrific terrorist attack that left one British soldier dead on the streets of London, it is troubling that the Obama Administration still refuses to acknowledge the attack as terrorism.

There is no doubt that Wednesday's attack in London was exactly that. The target was an off-duty British soldier'son, father, and combat veteran of Afghanistan. It was an act of brutality motivated by extreme religious and political beliefs with the aim of terrorizing the people of London. The blood-soaked killer, holding a bloodied meat cleaver and butcher's knife, told the world:

We swear by the almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you until you leave us alone. We must fight them as they fight us. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth'by Allah.

Anyone can see that this is terrorism. British Prime Minister David Cameron called it terrorism. Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu also called it terrorism. The Obama Administration's refusal to call it terrorism is pitiful, spiteful, and divorced from reality.

As Heritage Foundation researcher Daniel Kochis pointed out, the U.S. State Department's response has been equally pathetic. The State Department issued a curt statement only 40 words long that did not refer to the attacks in London as terrorism. To make matters worse, the statement was not put out in John Kerry's name or even in the name of his official spokesman. It was released by an 'acting deputy spokesman.'

The reluctance by the Obama Administration to call the attack in London terrorism is part of a continuing trend. Yesterday, President Obama declared that '[t]here have been no large-scale attacks on the United States, and our homeland is more secure,' yet only last month terrorists killed three and wounded 264. How much larger does it need to be?

The Administration refers to the Fort Hood terrorist attack that left 13 people dead and 32 wounded as 'work place violence.' In addition, it was either in denial mode or cover-up mode over the terrorist attack in Benghazi last year, blaming it on a YouTube video.

The U.K. is America's number one partner. Since 9/11, the British have fought side by side with the U.S. against terrorism. After all, the attacks on the World Trade Center killed 67 British citizens'making it the single largest terrorist attack against the U.K. Hundreds of British troops have made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It is time for the Obama Administration to stand with Britain just as Britain stands with America.

Victorinox Luggage Mobilizer Nxt 5.0 Ultra Light Carry On Bag, Black, 21 Recent Reviews

Victorinox Luggage Mobilizer Nxt 5.0 Ultra Light Carry On Bag, Black, 21 Recent Reviews
Very lightweight but well made. fits in overhead of the small regional jets yet I can pack enough for 4 nights.
- Ronald G Gingerich

Length:: 0:55 MinsThese photos hopefully show more information about the handle and bag measurements. I hope you can see them; Amazon apparently won't let me upload photos because orders for this item aren't fulfilled by Amazon (?), so I had to settle for a video slideshow.Anyway, the bag is 43" high with the handle extended completely - plenty long enough for my 6-foot 5-inch husband to pull it comfortably without having to slouch. The quality is very good, with all the basics covered. I like the fact that the outer pocket is only 7 inches deep, so toiletries are easy to reach.Normally I would pay about half this price for a carry-on, but I splurged on this one particularly for my husband.
- Emily Goodin

As expected Victorinox bag is a good quality product. I need to have a back up for my Boss carry on hard case which I had since early 1990s but it started to have issue with wheels (Boss doesn't make carry on luggage any longer). My 18.4 laptop fits nicely into the bag. As far as weight goes, it might be light for Victorinox bags, but it is heavier then my old carry on (similar size). Overall price vs value appears to be good deal
- Grigori

This is by far and away lighter than my 22 inch Victorinox carry on. I suspect that it's lifespan will also not be as long, but plenty long enough to justify the shockingly affordable price. If this is enough room for you and you are tired of hauling a heavy carry on around, go for it!
- waveterrorist

As to be expected, this carry-on is very well constructed and comparatively light. We just flew on Air France, and the size met their carry-on restrictions easily. It has surprising capacity as well. Will be buying another.
- Noreen O. Victor "N. O'Shea"

I've very tall, the thing I like about this small carry-on is the fact the handle is long. Makes my air travel much easier without having to stoop over to pull it along the concourse. I'd buy it again.
- Robert L Purnell

Good size and design. Fits in overheads nicely. Appears to be holding up well even after being sent as checked luggage a couple times.
- GearGuy

I was hoping the bag would be a bit more spacious like some of the other models I've seen at about the same size.
- Benjamin Heimdal

The bag appears to be well made, but was a modest bit less important room-wise than I realized. Soothe a bit ahead of schedule for any good evaluation of it's roughness - I've only full one trip with it so far, but agreed that it's a Victorinox manufactured goods, I estimate it will hold up well.
- Chuck

Didn't do that much comparison shopping but purchase based on the good Amazon reviews. This bag looks like it should hold up over time, good heavy duty nylon and zippers, wheels are large but inset so should still fit in luggage compartments. It also came with a pretty decent quality lock (not the cheapy brass locks that accompany lots of luggage). Slide-out handle looks to be extruded aluminum and should hopefully hold up very well overtime - my old Hercules bag's handle broke, which is what prompted its replacement. The one thing I might miss about this bag that my old Hercules bag had is zippered expansion. My Hercules bag could grow out the side by about 1.5-2" if I needed just a bit more room for longer trips. OTOH, this Victorinox bag is just slightly wider (0.5") than my old carry-on Hercules so hoping it should due for 3-4 days of business casual clothes. Also, I had a love/hate relationship with that Hercules feature because although it allowed the bag to carry that much more stuff, it also made it impossible to stand upright without constantly falling over. All in all, I am pretty pleased with this purchase. Will report back if any problems develop but judging by the quality of it, I anticipate it should hold up well for the next 8-10 years at least (which is about as long as I had my Hercules bag).
